  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Galatians 6:7 (NASB)
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
‘man sows.... man reaps’
This is a universal and eternal truth... Even to the forgiven, one sows what one reaps.... Scripture divides this into two categories, flesh or spirit... One would have the blessings of God on it the other, not...
If this is true, than to “sow to the spirit” would be the way forward for all that would desire to grow in God...
This sowing to the spirit than what exactly is it?
One could say it is walking in the fruit of the Spirit, but than self effort of how much love or ones perceived version of love was showed would be the benchmark of achievement and the severe judgement of the one that failed to reach the perceived standard of measurement....
So sowing to the spirit would have to be something much more secure from all efforts of the self life.....
So than what is sowing to the spirit?
Sowing to the spirit is another way of saying walking by faith... For faith in the operation of God in ones life on a moment by moment basis is the only way to keep the will of the flesh held captive on the cross in Christ’s death... For if something is not of faith, it is sin, regardless of how pleasing or Christian like it may appear if it is not of faith it is of self.... And if it is of self, it is sin...
Sowing to the spirit is that that causes the new birth to mature in one, i.e. the Divine nature in one to blossom forth to control the outer man in his doings... Saying no, where the no is necessary, than to the saying of yes, when that too is called for, to the manifestation of righteousness in all outward circumstances of life... For the doing of the righteous thing in the outward life is that that receives the blessings of God...
For the doing of the right thing at the right time is what we are all called to, from out of the darkness that is this world... To walk in this newness of life which is the manifestation of righteousness in all the outward circumstances of life.... Or maybe better said and more pointed, correctly understood, drinking the cup that is set before one.... And to drink from that cup regardless of what’s in it takes faith in the love of God pointed directly at the drinker of the cup..
Be blessed in the sowing to the spirit so one might drink and reap the rewards of such a life given over to God...
Your Way, O Lord is in The Sanctuary...Psalm 77:13
There is no more secure place to separate the self life for the Spirit than the prayer closet.
Jude 1:20. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith,
praying in the Holy Spirit.
Bearing Fruit That Remains
John 15:16. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
The well stated desire to keep "the left hand from knowing what the right is doing" is no doubt the
heart desire of a man or woman made righteous. And yet, we can bear fruit in our self life, by the
Holy Spirit working through us, for it is written:
James 3:18. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Amazing, that the righteous sow more than seed, but the very fruit of the Spirit. By your associations,
when you establish real relationships in the Peace of Christ, when we help bring peace to a home,
a community, a work environment, or between two people, even spouses, we are being true
servants of the Living God in our self life, and lay hold of our family inheritance in the Kingdom of God and of Heaven.
Be Blessed in the service of Our King!
Matthew 5:9. Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
That we all would find the pearl of great price, be willing to sell all, and buy the pearl at it’s asking price...
Which is the;
All of Him and nothing of us...
Be blessed in the finding, the purchasing, and the possessing ...
