Slowly but surely I am getting my outside man cave set up. Just installed my reloading presses. Hopefully I'm finished right before I am deployed and have to wait until next year to do anything.

So, which press do you like the best? Last year I replaced a Lyman Turret press I bought new in the 70's, and wore out. LOL. I bought a Franklin Armories press that was garbage; I sent it back. Bought a Rock Chucker like yours, installed the Lyman quick change bushing, and am super happy! Wish I had had it years ago. How do you feel it compares to the Hornaday? Lots of "boutique caliber Hornady fan-boys" at our club, a couple went out and bought Hornady kits for thousands and are now reloading experts. Some of us old guys put on a reloading day at the club and shared information and answered questions as we have a lot of interest. The Hornaday Fan Boys knew it all, argued that black is white on most points regarding equipment, and without exception, none had reloaded any more than one caliber and less than 500 rounds.

BTW, Hornaday's calibers (Creedmoors) are better than, and have replaced all other available calibers. It is a Cult. LOL

I use the internet too, but for some reason, I still don't know it all. LOL

Sorry for not replying sooner but I was deployed with the US Navy Hospital ship USNS COMFORT for the last three months and didn't have access to the site. I haven't had a chance to reload anything yet. I was hoping to have some time to do some reloading but I returned last Sunday, flew to Michigan, drove my wife to Virginia for a two day vacation that was interrupted by the hurricane, drove back to Michigan Friday and am sitting in Chicago at the airport to fly back to Virginia and deploy on a new ship Wednesday. There were some Canadian Forces with us on the hospital ship.

to qualify 7 press's only 2 are of higher quality 4 are cheap LEE used for the lightest of operations. removing primers, seating primers large & small , measurement checking . then a hydraulic press that is used to seat bullets using L E Wilson die's . i am seeing different guys that use the turret type press ,but now with the ability to change out die's so quickly the turret press has lost the allure of convenience.
