  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I haven't been asking too many ladies out on dates. I've been doing more group stuff. Dancing, workshops, meetup groups. Tho I have a standing date with a Jewish lady every 2 weeks. Its understood that we will probably never get serious, as she is into Jewish renewal and I'm a Christian. Tho it does seem we spirituality gives us more in common that most women I meet. We go out to eat, talk about God and how to have a relationship with God. She also would like to get over some physical intimacy issues, so we do some exercises to work on that.
Another lady that I meet with hasn't worked out for quite a while now. This week because I'm sick.
These relationships are all none typical it seems to me.
As for how to deal with eye contact. I'd ask someone to practice with you so you get more comfortable looking others in the eyes. Its helped me a lot.

Thanks a million,Dayhiker, for you mentioning meetup!!Ever since I joined one meetup group, that had a good number of positive people,I have been getting e-mails from many meetup groups in the San Francisco Bay Area. With over 9,000,000 people here in the Bay Area, the number of meetup groups is ample for an active social life. It is very possible that I can have a date or an outing
every weekend! :)

How much intel do you need to make your move on a chick? What does she need to tell you or do to make it safe for you to ask her out?

Secondly, when a cute guy makes eye contact with me or checks me out I tend to roll my eyes and look away...how do I fix this?
1. "Chick" is not the best of slang to use when talking about woman.
2. Just work on the rolling eyes thing.

When a woman rolls her eyes away from me it says she's not interested.

Yes, rolling eyes is seen as very negative. It is not, "I don't think I am interested", it is more like, "Ew, I don't want you within 1000 miles of me" negative.

Like I said, if it is a habit...so if you catch them rolling, consciously roll them back, make eye contact, and smile...

It doesn't mean "I am going to marry you" or even "I'll super interested"....it just helps counterbalance the rejection caused by the original eyeroll and says, "I see you as a person who deserves to be acknowledged"...and every person deserves that.
