malnutrition is so common - much more common than not.
and now that walmart has just announced $4/mo rx, malnutrition will become even more common . a huge percentage of people will be willing to take a pill daily instead of finding out what's bad in their diet, and their health care program will not help them find out in 96 percent of the cases(very educated guessing).
a really helpful book is "G_d's Key to Health and Happiness" by elmer josephson. or "What Would Jesus Eat" byDon Colbert.
for instance, iodine, vitamin e, b vitamins, and many minerals are crucial to health and are not even in a well-rounded diet in the usa (the foods have been depleted greatly, from the soil depletion and all the processing).
for those reading this thread because the word malnutrition caught their eye, and for help to improve health with good food choices,
here's a quote about elmer josephson's book: (only $15 online)

Elmer A. Josephson, an ordained Baptist minister, a graduate of Bethel Institute, St. Paul, Minnesota, also studied at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. His own serious illnesses were cured by following Bible teachings, compelling him to share his findings with others who suffer needlessly in body and spirit.
