In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Coming to theaters in the US on May 30, 2014.

Based on the villain in the popular children's story, Sleeping Beauty, Angelina Jolie plays Maleficient, who is the main villain.

I am sure most of you know about Sleeping Beauty, and have watched the Disney cartoon movie.

I think this movie will be interesting, as the villain is the main character (contrary to most films, where villain is not the main character, so that's why I think it is interesting) and I guess the movie will focus on Maleficient's perspective, and on her side of things. I like the idea of putting the villain as lead character. I think if this film is successful, maybe more films will be done similar to this - from villain's side and perspective.

I wasn't sure about it at first because its Disney (I'm not into kiddy type movies anymore). And the trailer how me confused to if Maleficent was a hero or villain. But having rented it a few days ago I was blown away by how amazing it was. Really ties the story line together well of sleeping beauty and gives us more insight to Maleficent. And of course I thought Jolie was perfect for the role. I also didn't realize until the end that Aurora (aka sleeping beauty) was played by Ella Fanning. Dakotas younger sister.

She really has grown up fast since I seen her last in that movie Super 8 (I think thats the one).
