From Malachi to Matthew.

I buy Bibles at sales or thrift shops and keep to hand out when the opportunity arises. I have one I got somewhere that is absolutely beautiful. It is a special edition from 1955. In each chapter it gives an introduction ,unlike any other Bibles I have had . Today as I open Matthew it explains the Old Testament is an introduction to the New and the birth of Jesus Christ. It explains the old can not stand without the new and the new can not stand without the old, I totally agree.



I have read , listened and studied the Bible nonstop since my time with my brother in 2011. Today it came to me as I leave Malachi , it will be the last time God speaks directly to a human as He had from Genesis to Malachi.

Matthew 1: 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.



Genesis to Malachi showed us why we needed all that will happen in Matthew to Revelation...

You will not find where God spoke directly to humans as He did in the OT , He spoke through Angels and then through Jesus , then Jesus is our way to even pray to God John 14:6, Matthew 11:27. Prior God spoke to and through people like Moses. He always used Angels to speak to people like Mary and Hagar
