make a story! (3)

I really don't know what we would do anyway. I was thinking we could do a murder mystery....In fact, that's a great idea!! I'll start......

Chance, Alyssa, John, and Alexis were coming up the walk now. They had known each other for a while now, and had been invited to a large estate with a mansion. It was a summer home, as the letter had put it. While everyone was suspicious at first, they all voted to go along.

"It looks so pretty....." Alexis said. The mansion was glorious, and appeared radiant in the sunshine. They walked inside the front doors. "Hellloooooooo!!!!" Chance called. "Hello, I am Mr. Rogers, and this is the Mrs. . We are glad you could come to the estate of Mr. Janemba....." Mr. Rogers said. Chance had commented that he had never heard the name Janemba, but the girls still wanted to come along. "The other guests have arrived." Mr. Rogers said. "'Other'? What do you mean 'other guests'?" John inquired. "You weren't the only ones invited by Mr. Janemba. Come, follow me...." Mr. Rogers said. "Accent....Fake!" Chance whispered to Alyssa and Alexis. The two girls giggled, and they followed Mr. Rogers.

The other guests appeared much different from the group of teenagers. There was a woman dressed in scarlet silk, a man dressed in a green suit, another man dressed in a purple suit with a monocle, and a curly moustache. There was an older man wearing a top hat, and an older lady wearing a scarf of what appeared to be peacokc feathers. Then, there was the maid.

The group of guests gathered around. "There, all the guests are here....." the maid said. "I'll go get the drinks." Mr. Rogers said. Wine was served. The teenagers were served tea and water. "A toast, to our host!!" the man in green said. "Where IS the host?" Alyssa asked. "He's not here. I was already here before anyone arrived....He said he and the missus were on personal affairs.....Said we could enjoy his hospitality while he was away......" the maid said. "Mrs. White, is there anything else he said?" Mr. Rogers asked the maid. The maid shook her head. "No, sir. Just told me to get the drinks....." Mrs. White replied.

"I suppose we should introduce ourselves. I'm Mr. Green." the man in green said. "I'm Proffessor Plum. I'm a college proffessor." the man in purple said. "Mrs. Scarlet's the name. I'm an actress....." the woman in scarlet silk said, in a deep Southern accent. "Mrs. Peacock." the woman in a blue dress with the peacock-feathered scarf said. "General Yellow." the man with a top hat said. "Mr. and Mrs. Rogers." the man and woman who had greated the group said. "Chance-", "Alyssa-," "Alexis-", "John-". The group introduced themselves. Suddenly a voice boomed from no where. "Welcome, guests. You have all been charged with killing Old Man Jenkins. Have you anything to say in your defense?" the voice said. "That's crazy!! There's no way we can defend ourselves logically, with us all being charged of killing one man!!" Mr. Green said. "Silence!!" the voice boomed. An arrow whizzed through the air, and struck Mr. Green in the forehead. He fell, dead instantly. Mrs. Scarlet screamed. The rest of the group tried to find where the voice was coming from. Eventually, Chance and John found a stereo system. Chance destroyed it with a ki blast. "Someone rigged this tape to play.....Who was it?" John asked. "I-I'm sorry, sit....I didn't know.....I just received written orders to start the tape after everyone had had their drinks...." Mrs. White said. "Why did you do it?" John asked. "I didn't know! I also don't know who shot the arrow at Mr. Green!!" Mrs. White shouted. then, she fainted. Mr. Rogers caught her.

(((Dun dun dun dun!!! A murder mystery, and the first victim!! Who is the murderer?))

((Yes! Our story's BACK in business! CHEYEAH!))

Alyssa walked over and kneeled down examining the dead body. She measured the angle and the mark on his forehead.
"It came from up there..." Alyssa said pointing up on wall right next to the ceiling. Chance looked up and started walking over to it.
"Why would someone do that?" Alexis asked.
"That’s just cruel." John said. Mrs. Scarlet was on the ground crying. ALyssa moved over to her to comfort her but was just pushed off. She put her hands up as to say she was surrendering.

"Fired from the ceiling....?" Chance said. He floated up, suprising the other guests. There was a shaft in the ceiling, presumably where the arrow was fired from. Raising his fist back, Chance punched through the shaft. There was an air vent up there. "There's not enough space up here for anyone to fit....And, most definitly not fire an arrow. How could whoever did this have done it.....?" Chance asked. "Whatever it was, there's no helping it now....Oh, I need a drink....." General Yellow said. Walking over to the tray of drinks, he grabbed another glass of wine. He drank the glass in one gulp. "Well, I suggest we make a signal for help, because there's no helping the fact that---HUUUUU!!! GACK!! GUH.....Uhhhhh......." General Yellow choked. He clutched his neck, his face turning purple. He tried desperately to breath. Then, he fell over.....The color disappearing from his face. The second victim, in a matter of minutes. "Death by asphyxation...." Proffesor Plum said. "Who is doing this.....?" Chance asked himself. A better question was, who was going to be the next victim?

Breakfast the next morning went as normal. John, Alyssa, Alexis, and Chance tried to keep calm. Mrs. Scarlet, Proffessor Plum, Mr. and Mrs. Rogers, and Mrs. Peacock ate their breakfast quietly.Mrs. Scarlet had remained in her room, asleep. She was still shaken up from last night. Suddenly, Mr. Rogers stood. "Answer me now!! Which one of you is the murderer!!" Mr. Rogers roared. His wife tried to comfort him. "Mr. Rogers, your being unreasonable. There is no way any of us is the murderer." Proffessor Plum explained in the most logical tone. "I can only discern from the information I have been given!! I'm going up to my room.....Please, excuse me....." Mr. Rogers said. He went from the kitchen, and stomped up the stairs. The rest tried to finish their meal. "I'm sure he's hungry....I'll take his meal up to him...." Mrs. White said. She grabbed a tray of food, and went upstairs. The rest of the group tried to finish their breakfast.

Then came the scream. A blood curling scream. Mrs. White was screaming bloody murder. The group ran upstairs. Mr. Rogers door was wide open.....On the floor, a trail of blood leading from behind the bed, Mr. Rogers feet sticking out from behind the bed. Mrs. White fianted again, John and Chance catching her. "Who....Did this?" Chance asked. Mrs. Scarlet walked inot the room. "What's all the commotion....I can hardly sleep with all the....AIYEEEEEEE!!!!!" she shrieked. Then, she fainted. Proffessor Plum caught her. Proffessor Plum gently took Mrs. Scarlet to her room. Then, he came back, inspecting the dead body. "There's no need for anyone to look. He's dead.....His head split open by a kitchen knife...." Proffessor Plum said. Proffessor Plum took the bed sheet off the bed, and placed it over the body. The third victim.

Alyssa looked around. She looked at the mad with a mysterioslook and walked out sullenly. She walked back to her rom, Opening the door.
"What's wrong?" Chance aske rght behind her out of nowhere. She gasped.
"Oh my... You scared me... Sorry... I don't like that maid very muc. She sees very suspicious... She automaticlly answerd when she 'Didn't' know where the arrow came from, She was in the room when Mr. Rogers died... SHE was the one serving he wine... I'm just not too sure about her... That's all." Alyssa replied.
"Okay. As long as you're mostly fine." Chance said.
"Yeah. I think I just need some rest..." she repied.
Okay. Night." Chane replied as Alyssa walked into her room.

(um.....arent those ppl from that one game?? Clue or something?? and....DONT CALL ME ALEXIS!! CALL ME LEXI!!!)

Lexi sat in her room looking out the window. It had started storming out and she shivered. Something bad was going to happen tonite. She felt it. She tiptoed out of the room and went over to Chance's room and knocked on the door.

"Who's there?" Chance's voice called back. "It's Lexi." she replied back. Chance unlocked and unbolted the door, and let her in.

"What's wrong?" he asked. "I'm scared....Something's going to happen tonight. I can feel it in my bones...." she said. "It's okay. We'll be safe." Chance said. "But, I've felt weird since we got here.... Like, my powers are drained......" Lexi said. "I've felt weird since we got here. But, you may just feel weird seeing as there have been three murders...." Chance said.

"I guess so. Thanks." Lexi said. She went and hugged him. Why did he feel all warm to her? Did she feel that warm to him. She didn't know.

"Lexi.....I know your scared, but......Your hugging me a bit too tight....." Chance said. "Oh, sorry."

She backed off Chance a little and apologized again.
"its okay.." Chance said." were all kinda freaked I guess."

"yea." Lexi said." Well....um...chance...is....is it okay if i sleep in here tonite.....I' kinda scared to go into my room alone.....I can sleep on the floor!!"

"Uhhh... Yeah..." Chance said.
"Thanks." Alexis said sitting on ther floor. Chance got her a pillow and a blanket and set it down next to her and roamed back over to his bed and sat on the edge.

Lexi snuggled under the blankets and soon heard Chance's deep breathing. She still couldn't fall asleep. Something was bothering her. She felt a dead weight on her chest and shot up.
"Something or someone is here that shouldn't be..." she thought to herself."and i have a feeling its not one of us...."

She stood up and walked towards the door. She began to feel dizzy.

"My powers are fading away...." She said before her body crashed to the ground.


Chance heard the crash and bolted awake. He saw Lexi by the door.

"Lexi.....Lexi...." He said.

She moaned and opened her eyes." Its not any of us who's doing the killing...."

"Do you know who it is??" Chance asked.

"N...No...." Lexi said." But out power is being sucked away...."

Then she blacked out again. Chance growled and looked towards the door feeling someone or something approuching.

Chance suddenly was overcome by an extreme terror. He picked Lexi up, and set her on the bed. He tried to make his sword appear. Nothing. His powers were fading, too. He looked around for a suitable weapon. Whatever was heading their way, it was coming more quickly now. And, it sounded as if it were two people. There was a knock on Chance's door. "Who's there?" Chance asked. "It's John and Me!!" Alyssa's trembling voice came. Chance opened the door. "The fourth....Victim....." John said, panting heavily. Chance picked up Lexi, following the other two to the next room.

Mrs. Rogers was laying there asleep on the bed in Alyssa's room. "She said she wanted to sleep in here....Because of....You know, so I said okay.....She was thirsty, so she went to go get a glass of water....She came back, and she layed back down.....And, I wanted to see if she was okay, and I tried to wake her up, and...." Alyssa started bawling. It was true. Mrs. Rogers couldn't wake up.

"I'm sorry..." Alyssa said, Her mouth covered by her hands. She tried her hardest to stop crying.
"It's okay, Lyss." Chance said walking over to give her a hug.
"N-No... No it's not... This wrong... ALL wrong..." Alyssa sounded somewhat mad through her tears.
"It's okay." John said hugging her. Alyssa just sat there in the moment, Thinking about what to do...
"I can't use my powers anymore..." she finally let out a little slowly.
"What?" Chance asked.
"I can't use my powers anymore!" she said a little upset.
"What do you mean?!" John asked.
"I mean I can't ues them!" Alyssa shouted.
"Lex and I can't use ours either..." Chance said.
"Who... Who ever the hell is doing this... Is NOT human... And I'm starting to get scared... And it takes a LOT to make me scared... Or to make me cry... Even in fights..." Alyssa said choking up her tears.

Lexi woke up and put her hand to her head.

"He isn't human....he has puppets" she said. "They are....making sacrifices to ressuerct him...."

"What!?" Chance asked looking down at Lexi.

"If we don't find the one puppet who can save us....we will all die..." Lexi's eyes shot open."What am I saying??"

Chance and John looked over and walked over to her.
"Huh?" they asked.
"I-I dunno..." Lexi replied.
"Where's Lyss?" Chance asked.
"To her room real quick..." John replied.
"By herself?!" Chance asked franticlly.
"Y-Yeah." John replied. A loud high pitched scream of terror rushed through the hallways and into the room.
"ALYSSA!" the boys both yelled running out the hallway.
"HELP!" the voice shouted. They ran down the hallway and found Alyssa holding onto the edge of the floor. There was an opening that had slid opened and had her fall in. Five saws were at the bottom of the twelve foot drop pit. Alyssa hung on crying and holding on as best as she could.

A large t.v screen droped from the ceiling. A cloaked man appeared on screen.

"Hello mortals. Are you enjoying your stay??" he asked.

"Who are you and why are you doing this??" Lexi shouted.

John helped Alyssa up and glared at the tv.

"heheh.....I'm doing it just as she wants it." the man said." a few other will be approuching the manor tonite. Be ready for even more traps"

The screen clicked off and Lexi stared in fear at it.

"Others??"She looked at everyone." what are we gonna do??"

Chance looked down." The only thing we can do is stay together..."

"We have to do something about the others!!" Alyssa shouted.

"What can we do??" John asked." This is gonna happen anyway....we cant do anything...."

Chance grabbed her hand. "Alyssa, let go of the edge!!" Chance said. "Why? So I can fall to my death?!" she asked. "No, so I can pull you up!!" Chance said. Alyssa let go carfully, and hung there for a second. Chance started to pull her up, but he suddenly felt weak. His feet slid across the ground, as he started to fall into the cervice, too. "Chance! Alyssa, no!!" John cried. He grabbed Chance's hand. Proffessor Plum, Mrs. Scarlet, and Mrs. Peacock ran into the room. "What's all the commoti--Oh, my goodness!!" Proffessor Plum said. He grabbed John's hand, helping John to pull the other two up. "Whew....Looks like one murder attempt was foiled...." Mrs. Peacock said. "Where's the maid? Mrs. White?" Lexi asked. "She was behind me just a minute ago....." Proffessor Plum said. They ran down the hall together. The bathroom door was opened. Proffessor Plum gasped. "She's dead. Shot through the head...." Proffessor Plum said. "When was a shot fired?" Mrs. Scarlet asked. "Anytime. We couldn't hear it over the screams." Proffessor Plum said. They closed the bathroom door. Seven people were left.

"Oh my God... Oh my God..." Alyssa said franticlly shaking with huge tears in her eyes. She breathed in and out as it stammered and her breathing staggered. "Oh my G-God..." Chance walked over and hugged her. "I'm so s-sorry..."
"For what?" Chance asked. "You didn't do anything wrong.
"F-For going alone a-and freaking out and crying like this... I'm sor-ry..." she shook violently and tried holding her tears back through her staggered breathing that was making her heart pound a million miles and hour.

Lexi looked at Alyssa and was about to say something but the doorbell rang making everyone jump.

"Should we get it?" Lexi asked.

"I'm not sure...." Chance asked." I mean....you heard that guy right?"

"yea...." John said." But Look outside....its storming out."

The doorbell rang again and they heard the door open and a male voice call out.

"Hello? Anyone here?"

Lexi ran down the hall to the stair case.

"Don't move!!" She called out and she threw a waterbottle down at there feet.

The floor fell from the hit and the small group gasped. It looked like thousands of knives were sticking up.

"Walk around if your gonna come up. But be careful!!" Chance called joining her.

Lexi sucked in her breath and let out a sigh. The spikey haired guy and his friends carefully walked around.
When they got upstairs everyone introduced themselves.

"Who are you guys?" john asked.

"I'm Cloud. This is Aeris, Tifa, Barret, Red XIII, Vincent and Cid." the spiky haired guys said



(Plz dont yell at me for putting them in here)

((Hey... It IS anime! LOL!))

"What's wrong with her?" Cloud asked.
"She's a little tramatized right now." John said. "Havin' o see four or five deaths in two nights and almost dying herself... Doesn't help any..."
"Oh... I'm sorry..." one of them replied.
"It's okay. She'll, Hopefully, Be better soon." Chance replied looking over at the overly shaken Alyssa.
