Please pray for me that I might know what to do and say regarding a situation at church. There is a man up for elder and I do not believe he would be anything but a detriment to the church. He is a fine deacon, but frankly I do not want to see him as an elder.

So pray for me that I may know what to do. Pray that he is not nominated to put us in this position. May God help us.

Heal the people Father from all disagreement and turmoil cast upon them by the imperfections of the flesh. Father ease our souls and touch each and everyone with the power of Your Holy Spirit. Please allow for us to see where the haze is thick so that we may not stumble and fall. Love us Father despite all our imperfections as I know You do. Give us the wisdom to know the differences and the power of Your Holy Spirit to enforce our quiet contentment. Thank You Father for I know it is done.

Praying for you and the church. We have a similar difficult situation at our church, but it is with an interrum pastor. He is very difficult and is against the contemporary direction the church had been taking in the past two years. He is very traditional and trying to change all the progression that has been made. It is difficult. I can sympathsize w/ you.
