  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Sorry, Redguard...it's Martin Luther (unless I am wrong...LOL). I've only seen the ads for it, but I DO know that Colin Firth's brother, Jonathon, is in it! Lol! I would suggest going to google and doing a search for reviews or historical accuracy. Here is the link to rotten tomatoes...they give reviews and such...hope this helps!

I'm not sure how much I should say about the accuracy because I'm not as familiar with Luther's life as other parts of history but from what I understand it's pretty accurate. The only problem is that it has a bunch of historical events and people but doesn't explain their importance much. Personally I think it would have been a better movie if it had fewer historical events and focus more on the person of Luther. On the other hand seeing those historical events but not completely understanding them may make people curious and study Luther's life where if the movie was simpler to understand it wouldn't stir up as much interest in studying him.
