Are we taking this in a conversational direction? I don't know how to lead biblical Hebrew into conversational direction. Do you want me to include some modern Hebrew expressions and such?

You can do anything you like I love it all already! I just mean basic like

"Hi Lulav, I praise God for you." and stuff thats real simple like that...

just goofing around stuff:p

But yes the intent is so we can dig into our Bibles and understand the Hebrew as the Bible was written:thumbsup:

I think you can say what you said above in Hebrew like this:

היי לולב, אני השבח השם בשבילך

Ok, I'm confused on that last word. Are you praising my effort or my need for help? :D

I was correcting your sentence. "I praise God for you." ;)
I wouldn't be praising anyone if I said מְשַׁבַּחַת (because that's feminine). I'd have to say מְשַׁבֵּחַ if I were the subject of the sentence.

But the effort was still nice. :)

The meaning of the last word, before your thread gets deleted, is "about you" or "for you." There are several words that come into English as "for." It's just by happenstance that when we praise someone "for something" in Hebrew, we say על. The word בשביל is more like "intended for."

I wish you well in your future endeavors with the Hebrew language, and I'm saddened to see that you want to leave already.
