Today The Lord cleared up my wrong thinking in what His Blessings are and what a valley is and a mountain ...The world has always said one thing and it never was what God said , from the Garden till now.
To feel someones suffering is a blessing. I use to think it was a curse till I really understood the Cross. Jesus faced more than any of us could face or feel, that is Love.
Something happened today and I knew what that person was going through and knew how to pray. That made me stop in my tracks and look at all that I ever looked at as bad or a valley in my life.
1 Corinthians 12:26And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
I have thought about all the sin in my life , all the suffering , all the loss and never understood the work of blessings in those things.
I was blessed when I tasted all kinds of sin but God pulled out.
I was blessed when I went through a time and felt no one loved me.
I was blessed when my heart was broke by another human.
I was blessed when I lost family and friends I loved .
I was blessed when I lost a home .
I was blessed when I was poor .
I was blessed when I was sick .
I was blessed when I lost or suffered anything , I can feel that suffering of others.
Nothing is about us , as individuals , it never was. Use what the world calls bad or a valley and turn it into to Blessings and being on a mountain...
All the things we face , Jesus faced for us and knows what we are going through. We are never alone , we are never poor and we are never unloved.
No one suffered like Jesus and He did no wrong. He sits next to The Father and we long to be in His presence. To take our sufferings and turn them into blessings is what Jesus did for us and we are to follow.
The world says pain free , no suffering , no trials and pleasures . God also blessed me with a mansion I longed for. He blessed me with money I longed for. He blessed me relationships I longed for. He blessed me pleasures I longed for, they are nothing compared to what I gained from suffering.
This life was never about this life... Someone said I was in a valley right now , NO , I am on a mountain!
The world looks at my life and says she is in a valley , God looks at me and knows I am in the best place I have ever been in my whole life. Our lives are about our souls , not anything the world offers...
The world looked at Paul in prison, Peter no money and said they are in a valley , when they where on the mountain. Never listen to the world , never judge by the worlds standards. Jesus did not have an earthly house , Elijah hung out in caves and with crows.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
It is when we have all the world offers we are in the valley. There are beautiful homes covered in lava today or burned by fire and many thought that was their mountain in life. To get closer to God is the mountain, anything else is lie of satan, saying eat the fruit of this world...
Luke 18:22
Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
We have missed the whole message if we think having earthly things is the top of the mountain ...
