  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Before this universe there dwelt...

1. The God head - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
2. Three groups of angels...
___a. Michael - Strong Angels
___b. Gabriel - Wise Angels
___c. Lucifer - Worshiping angels

I believe that the creation of this universe is in response to Lucifer's fall.

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: - Revelation 12:4

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:- Isaiah 14:12

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. - Revelation 12

Notice that the devil took a third part of the stars with him. This is because the devil was an Arch-Angel over a third of the angels. As three is the number of completeness, so Lucifer left a void in heaven, in which we humans were created to fill. The fallen angels know this, and war with us over their vacated positions.

Christ Jesus is more in favor with the God the Father and the Holy Spirit than with the lower species of the angels. I do not get where the Mormons believe that Lucifer and Jesus were brothers, they made this up!

Well, the Father is above all... There are species of creation under him. Lucifer, Michael, and Gabriel, are Arch-Angels, of the same species. Michael and Gabriel are brothers to Lucifer...

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. - Revelation 10

It was Michael, not Christ, who threw Lucifer out of heaven. As Christ is greater than Lucifer the scripture also says,

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. - 1 John 4:4

As Christ is of a higher species, a member of the actual trinity itself, so he has the greater power than the angels which are of lesser species.

Who do you believe is Satan's Father?

Well...The bible says that God is the Father above all.. So with that argument we are all brothers, from the ant to the angel...

1 Corinthians 8:6
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Lucifer and Christ were never brothers of the same species!

Yes... In that they share the same father... But of different species. Christ was never an arch angel!

So, those who have the same father are called children of that father and brothers and sisters.
Conclusion: Christ and Lucifer are brothers. They have the same Father. Even if make up unbiblical doctrine that they are different species, they are still brothers. So, LDS are correct.

It's the fact that Lucifer brought down with him a third of the stars of heaven, which the scripture says 'his angels were cast out with him.' This is a sign that the arch-angels are three; Lucifer, Michael, and Gabriel. In that they are the same species it was Michael's responsibility to give them the boot.
