Loyola Press...

I know there are some good publishers that are faithful to the Magesterium like Ignatius Press, Our Sunday Visitor, Catholic Answers, and Sceptor you never have to worry about buying books from them, but what about other publishers? Are there any other ones that you consider completely faithful to the Magisterium?

Are St. Anthony Messenger Press and Loyola Press good publishers or are they a little iffy?

I think that St. Anthony Messenger is a little sketchy, but I cannot back that up. Loyola is a Catholic college, so you know...

Hmm, I guess it might have to be a bit of trial and error for me.

If anyone has read a book that isn't on the up and up from a specific Catholic Publisher please fill me in.

Look for "Imprimi Potest," "Nihil Obstat," and "Imprimatur" on the copywrite page. This will tell you if it is free of error to the Catholic church.
