I was wondering if anyone here might know of anyplace I could obtain some low cost Bibles from, so that they can be given away.

I also go to the local Salvation Army Thrift store. The one here seems to have a never ending supply of used Bibles that they will give you free for distribution. Sometimes they limit me to just a few in one day, but I can go as often as I like and that is where I gets lots of Bibles for giveaway free!

those are actually much better prices than I thought would even be possible.
Here's what I would like to do with them. I so often see homeless people on the side of the road, or in front of a store with signs saying Will work for food. I would like to put together some bags, with non-perishable type foods, maybe a few necessities, and include a Bible along with some type of letter letting them know how much God cares for them. I could keep these in the car and have them ready to hand to them as I drive by.

Some good tracts to go with the Bibles can be found on atstracts.com. Tell them they are for ministry to the homeless, and they might give you a discount.
Also, my neighbor just told me about a website were you can get free evangelistic materials. As soon as I get the address, I'll let you know.

LOL! GREAT idea! I mentioned about tracts in an earlier reply that was eaten. Don't ya just love it when you post all day and they get eaten! Oh my!
