  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sometimes it's easy to forget these beautiful things that Jesus taught.
These gems can be fount in Matthew 5 or Luke 6:27

I'm guilty of forgeting these...but I try to remember.
Because when you love, life is beautiful.
Love is contageous, it brightens up everyones day.
It doesnt matter if someone is being rude to you, it doesnt matter if someone judges you. In the end, there's only God and He loves you!

What joy can be achieved through loving!

Why love Jesus?
Because He died for us! He took the punishment that was reserved for us!
How would you feel if you were sentanced to be executed, but then a gracious stranger jumped in your place!

Jesus didn't come to abolish the law or the prophets!
We are still required to go under the law and be judged by our lives.
But Jesus didn't get rid of the law, he FULFILLED IT!
Jesus fulfilled all the law, and whoever believes in him will have His righteousness accounted towards them!
Praise be to Jesus!

This is a random post, but i hope it helps someone out there

God Bless!:amen:
Jesus Fulfilled the law

I should clarify,

Jesus fulfilled the law for us!
Because we are unable to do so ourselves.

I find reading definition of fulfill makes it clear :)

Fulfill: ful.fil', v.i.-fulfilled, fulfilling. [a compound of full and fill; O.E. fullfyllan.]
(1) To accomplish or to carry into effect, as a Prophecy or a Promise; (2) to meet or satisfy the requirements; (3) to bring to a finish or completion; (4) to bring the conditions of a law to realization; (5)to bring to a consummation.
-ful.fil.er, n.--ful.fill.ment, ful.fil.ment, An act of fulfilling; condition of being accomplished
