  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes whenever possible i agree, its not possible for us to be perfect and we all make mistakes, i know i sure have made plenty of them myself and will make more I'm sure. Whenever possible sounds right and no ones perfect, if i had a dollar for every time i messed up big time according to the Word, i would be rich.

Grace sustains us all and Jesus died for our mistakes so we need not fear, all we need to do is let grace sustain us and lean on our loving Lord Jesus when we need Him, he will comfort us according to His loving purpose and mercy for us. We are all just a bunch sinners trying our best to serve the Lord, we make mistakes its no big deal, Jesus came to save us all because of those mistakes. We should all pray together right now, all in silence and in agreement that He will help us all in our time of trouble and bless and encourage us, pray that we will turn to Him so that He can lift us up. May the Lords Love and mercy fall upon us all, may we know that everything is OK and God is in control.

I have been daily encouraging and praying for someone of my past who was definitely not so nice (but God is working on). He ended up losing his job one day and I am helping feed him and save his apartment. Now he can keep his place to live, and just got a 2nd job. Both jobs within walking distance. Also trying to help him learn to save money. God works in mysterious way. He had too much to lose and no one else could help him.

i just wanted to share a blessing with you all. Many Years ago i had lost touch with a special friend who meant the world to me. But through no fault of our own time and circumstance separated us. For years this person searched for me and this person never gave up and finally found me via the internet. We have been reunited for 11 months now. isnt that great. i thank god for blessing me and giving me my friend back.

another story I wanted to share real quick before I go to sleep ( its after 1 am my time ). once when i was traveling to visit my family I got a flat. I had gotten the jack out and even got the car cranked up but for the life of me I could not loosen those lug nuts. A half hour had gone by without a soul traveling down that road. Thankfully someone happened by and changed the flat for me. i was so thankful for that person. I will never forget their kindness.
