Loud music/ rude neighbors

The married couple next door to me have two small children. They play obnoxious loud music with a really heavy base until midnight, they cuss around their small children, they abuse their pets (even starving them), and they don't even like each other.

Tonight the man was out in his huge garage (cause we live in the country), playing his obnoxious music again. Anyone who does the right thing, by the law, and calls the authorities on him, get on his "bad list", and he hates us for trying to keep our neighborhood peaceful - many elderly live here.

I'm very sleepy, and I just want to go to bed, but can't because of the loud base to the music. It is SO annoying and there's no way to get away from the noise.

His buddies drink until they are dead drunk and they make huge "sceens" out on his property - screaming, shouting, cussing at one another and sometimes shooting their guns.

I want to get along with my neighbors, but they do not want to comply, not even when asked nicely. Not even when the police come to their house.

I don't know what else to do. So I really would appreciate your prays on this matter. I really would love it (in fact, everyone here has said that they would LOVE it) if these people would move away. They are out of place here in an elderly community.

I am praying for you that your neighbors quiet down or move.The police can give them a ticket if they catch them doing all that obnoxious stuff over and over. That might teach them. I'm lucky, my obnoxious neighbor is moving out.

They are at it again. This time until three o'clock in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't stand it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My family and I called the police. Three cars came. They congratulated the man whom the party was being thrown for, and then they left! They did absolutely nothing!

My nerves are shot, and I haven't slept in about 24 hours! I can't even think straight, so hopefully this post is making sense.

Please keep praying that they'll move away. Thank you to all who are praying.

Hey,

I just want to let you all know that my neighbors have ben quiet since yesterday

After the third call that we (my family and I) made to the police that night, the sheriff himself showed up and told everyone to go home!
(praise God!!!)

Please, if you wouldn't mind (for those of you who are what some call prayer warriors), please continue to pray for these people - that God will help them to become Christians, and that they'll accept salvation through Christ.

Praying for you to get the rest you need

I had some not so nice neighbours and I prayed that I could share the gospel with them and they would change or the Lord would move them on and the next week they moved out the really sad thing is they had 3 children who were being yelled at all the time even locked outside the children were either fighting or yelling or crying it was heart breaking sorry to steal your thread but you are in my prayers for deliverance of the neighbours or removal

Uh, we have some noisy neighbors, too... only we live in town, not out in the country. I shudder to think about the 4th of July because they light illegal fireworks right in front of our house. Every year they do this. These are fireworks that professionals use at ballgames and Disneyland, etc.... LARGE DRUMS!! My poor ears, and my poor pets. I'm praying for your situation, too.

Boy, can I relate!

I live in an apartment building (4-plex) with my elderly, disabled mother. We have not one, but at least TWO noisy neighbors.

The building's owner, a Christian- and the son of the pastor of the church I attend- used to live here. But a few months ago he moved out and rented his apartment to some real nightmare tenants.

They constantly hold parties. They play LOUD music all times of the day and night. He and his numerous buddies park their cars all over the place- even under my bedroom window. They come and go even in the middle of the night.

Once someone even knocked on my window while I was trying to sleep- just to be annoying!

Not long ago, I heard someone yelling outside, near my window, about 4:00 AM. I looked out and to my horror, this neighbor was out there in nothing but his underwear yelling at someone who wasn't even there! I'm sure he was drunk.

As if that wasn't bad enough, the people above us also play loud music, but not usually late at night anymore (they used to). They (live-in boyfriend/girlfriend) also sometimes fight, screaming and throwing things around. AAARRGH!

Before the owner here moved out, this was a fairly peaceful place. Now it's an unsafe party zone! He is aware of the problems, but they still go on. We are afraid to call the police because of retaliation.

We may move, but I don't want to. It seems so many people only think of themselves anymore!

Awe how sad I'm sorry to hear that. This may be a stupid question, please forgive me if it is, but if they are doing something illegal,....can't you turn them in? Are you also afraid of retaliation like believenolies is (as stated in his/her post)?

It's really a shame when we can't do something about the bad guys anymore. They run amuck like bratty children who terrorize and bully the good children. It's just not right.

I am still praying for you and the neighbors. A new lady moved in here and she blasts her music and I don't know what sort of music it is but it sounds horrible. I could not hear my music or concentrate on the computer. I think she parties a lot and drinks a lot. Ugh. I am praying.

I can relate to this situation as something like this happened to us a few years ago in our previous neighborhood. I am praying the situation gets changed for you as it did for us. Eventually we moved but now it is resolved since the offenders moved too. That isn't the main reason we moved though it did have something to do with it. We now live in a nice, active, friendly, and quieter neighborhood. And peace prevails. God is good to hear our prayers.

I was out of town the whole month of August, but apparently they were at it again with the loud music while I was away. My mom told me about it by email

They have been quiet since I've been back, and a while before then too.

I believe the power of God works through His children who are in sincere prayer for one another.

Thanks again and thanks also for sharing your stories too. It helps me feel less alone. Plus it gives me a chance to pray for whoever else is in need.
