I know that if you are a loyal fan of the show Lost, this will shock you, but I've never watched the show.
That is, until the other day.
We had the DVD out from the library and were watching the pilot. And we didn't even have time to watch that much of the pilot before we had to return it. We only got to the exploration of the front of the plane and the short time the 3 people had with the pilot. (Trying not to give anything away for someone like me who has never seen the show).
So, here's the thing. This show starts off very violently. No surprise, even to me, I knew already it involved a plane crash.
I found it interesting and very frightening. Overwhelming at times, which I'm sure is intended.
Is the show ALWAYS like this, every show? It had a real feel of Jurassic Park about it. Or even Aliens. Tons of tension. I do like those kinds of movies, but only once in a while.
The concept looks SO interesting to me, but I don't know that I want a real roller coaster ride with each and every show. And so much blood and guts.
So, I think you get my drift.
Without giving the show away to me, can you broadly catorgorize it's overall approach to story-telling?
Thanks for all your help.
