  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Here's a theory my dad and I were talking about last night (sorry if it's a repeat of someone else's idea), we think that when the plane crashed everyone died and now they are in Purgatory.

Here's why:
1.) Everyone on the island has issues that they are working out.
2.) The hunter guy, Lock (?), always seems to know what these problems are and how to help them through it (guardian angel).
3.) The evil people on the island, who were not on the plane (demons).

So, what do you guys think.

Lost is my favorite show on TV right now (at least until Deadwood comes back for its second season on HBO.) Locke has a central role, I think, in explaining things, with him going from being in a wheelchair to now being able to walk on the island (not to mention hunt and do what he had hoped to do in the Australian outback).
