I was raised,well, I was christened into a protestant faith but I am unsure if being protestant is the right for me, I am just asking if anyone can give me a breif outline of other forms of christianity, i wouldbe extremely grateful! thankyou

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

GOD'S CHURCH has but ONE name. The KINGDOM of ALMIGHTY GOD.
Now as to the worldly Churches they have a number of names. If they are doing GOD'S WILL they are feeding MILK to babes. ( as per GOD'S WORD )
I would suggest that you take out GOD'S WORD and read it till the next time you read it you will already know what it's going to say. For then it's locked in your heart. You will never be sorry. Start with the NEW TESTIMENT.
In my walk up GOD'S PATH I have attended various Churches. I have received MILK from them all. I also received words of man rather than GOD. Think about it. Do you really believe that GOD would want so much separation in HIS followers??? This is where man comes in.
That is the reason having GOD'S WORD locked in your heart is SO IMPORTANT. Then when man starts adding his will to GOD'S WORD you WILL know.
GOD'S WORD says:
" ONCE YOU KNOW THE TRUTH, THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE "
So now you need to decide if you want to be bound to man or GOD???
Go where your heart leads you and do not be afraid to go where ever your heart leads you. Beware of the brand names game.

Believe in Greek is a verb and has three components which are: hearing, accepting, and then acting ( COMMITING ) upon that which you have accepted.

Lose of faith is mainly due to not knowing who you are in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Check these questions out and give me an answer for each question.
Do you believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of our Almighty God?
Do you believe that our Lord Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary?
Do you believe that Lord Jesus Christ walked on this earth?
Do you believe that our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and died on the Cross?
Do you believe that our Lord Jesus Christ died to cleanse you of all sin and to redeem you with our Almighty God?
Do you believe that Lord Jesus Christ rose again on the third day?
Do you believe that our Lord Jesus Christ sits on the right hand side of our Heavenly Father in the Heavenlies?
Do you believe that our Lord Jesus Christ has brought you back from the kingdom of darkness and bondage of Satan?
