I would point out that despite being a trained soldier, Desmond in his previous flashback was hardly the bravest of men. Possibly Charlies accusation has some merit?

Desmond is becoming one of my fave characters!! He is very interesting. Heres to hoping the next episode is all about him!! Of course I want to see a little Sawyer too!

Saw `Daybreak' and the `Lost' clip that went with it. It IT were Hurly confronting Locke this time. A harder Hurly, with a hard question. Also a sensible question:

`What happened when Desmond turned the Key in the hatch?' `How did they go from being `down there' to scattered about on the surface'? (that was the gist of it, don't remember precisely. I didn't catch all of Lockes response.)

Oh well, somebody will find it on `You Tube' and staple it here before much longer.

Ok, tonights promo...

Charlie and Hurly are going through the contents of somebodies tent. One of them makes a comment about this being `wrong'; the other responds `well, this is what they'd want them to do.' Theor search is just getting underway when Desmond walks up and tells them both to come with him.

Whosever tent it is has a lot of magazines, so I'm guess Sawyers. (Jack was living in the Hatch right up until he left, and I don't remember Kate doing much reading.)

It looks like Hurly and Charlie are trying to `play detective' here. Seems closely connected with the other snippits.

I'm sure it's Sawyer's tent - Charlie said, "He stole all this in the first place" so it has to be his.

Actually, it is very informative in one respect, and represents a break from the past: for almost the first time, we have characters starting to ask the sort of basic questions they failed to ask for the last two seasons.
