Lost and ....Myth Busters?

I thought this might be kind of fun, and hey, maybe that's just me. Just in case you think so too...here goes.

I thought we could post things from the show we'd like to see Mythbusters....bust.

Not the time travelling and smoke monster type of things of course, but the type of things that are in action type movies that we also see on Lost.

What brought this to mind was the talk in the thread about "death by dishwasher" in the most recent episode. That was ultra horrific and gross. My scientifically minded husband pointed out that ...."dishwasher doors aren't meant to talk the weight of a person...that door would have collasped."

There must be things we'd crazy Lost fans would like to see them bust on Mythbusters...what do you think?

I'd like to see how feasible it would be for Ben to push the donkey wheel after it had been frozen in place for <x> number of years at a presumed <y> temperature.

No! I had no idea that there was a Mythbuster link. Or maybe I did and it's one of those "Lost" pieces of info that's just there in the back of my mind.

I just love those guys!

Yeah I do too. My husband is usually the one who records Mythbusters and he watches it while I'm doing other stuff, and invariably something will catch my attention and I end up sitting down to watch it with him.

Apparently the are great fans of Lost too!

I have NO idea how they would test that.

There was a case in the UK of someone slipping and accidentally falling and fell on a big knife upturned in the cutlery basket in the dishwasher and was killed. So it was on the news to tell everyone never leave your knives like that and I never have!

So I don't think the knife/dishwasher is a myth. If the dishwasher door did break the weight of the person would still go down on that big butcher knife, sticking out of the cutlery basket.
