CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Here's the whole story about my finger I put a picture somewhere on this thread, maybe second to the last page I think. It's kind of funny because in the picture I am sitting at the computer holding my bandaged finger up. You can stop me! I always make it back to CF! LOL

It was pretty bad. I stayed in the hospital for a day and a half. I was very sick, not sure if it was from shock or from bacteria from the dog's mouth. Now I feel a little better but my finger looks like something out of a Frankenstein movie I can't make any sense of it. (lol) I may never get full use of it again.

I am a part of a ministry very similar to what you are wanting to start... it is called the Underground Railroad. Specifically, we reach out to alternative sub cultures and to the Rainbow Kids. I have worked with the Rainbow Kids a great deal in Kansas City, Chicago, and quite a bit in Memphis.

Well, it used to look a lot better and have more info on it. I have recently read that the site is possibly moving to another webmaster, and I might offer my assistance with getting it running. The website isn't really all that important, as the UR is really a network of ministries tied together. Its really just a way for us to communicate with each other.
