I would HIGHLY recomend C.S. Lewis's "Mere Christianity." It's just an amazing book packed with tons of information. I'd even suggest reading it a couple of times!
ME too, although I haven't read "Mere Christianity" yet. I bought his pack of 6 books off Amazon and started with "The Screwtape Letters." It is kind of hard to follow but gives good insight as to what the devil is trying to do to take over peoples minds. I have heard all his books are good and have found that to be true with this one. I will read Mere Christianity next Someone also recommended I read "Chronicles of Narnia" or something like that.

Tryin,

I hope you don't mind me making a small correction.

For Nephilim and The Unholy Deception, the author is L. A. Marzulli.

Another book I would recommend if one likes the two above books is Facade, by Michael S. Heiser.

These books are Christian Science Fiction, and Facade has a lot of fact fiction included. The implications of this book will give you the willies.

Has anyone read The Blessed Child by Ted Dekker and Bill Bright?

Here's an overview of Facade, by Michael S. Heiser:

Product Description:
The plot of The Facade is driven by the fate of a team of scholars recruited for an Above-Top-Secret project against their will by a cabal of military insiders known only as "The Group." To gain the team's trust, the Group authorizes successive levels of disclosure to astonishing technologies, shocking alien artifacts, and documents which chronicle the clandestine history of the United States government's knowledge of UFOs - including Operation Paperclip, a secret program that recruited Nazi scientists for their technical knowledge. Nevertheless, it soon becomes apparent that nothing is what it seems. The Facade follows the team as they unpeel layer after layer of deception, uncovering a shocking revelation that will alter mankind's self-understanding forever - if they can discern which lie to believe. The unlikely center of the team is Dr. Brian Scott, a scholar of ancient semitic languages. Despite his credentials, Brian's life is overshadowed by his low self-esteem and his parents' unspeakable deaths. Brian is befriended by Father Andrew Benedict, a dignified but enigmatic priest, whose presence will dictate the direction Brian's life must take. After a tense initial briefing, Brian is confronted by Dr. Melissa Kelley for an insensitive remark made during the briefing. As angry as she is beautiful, Melissa's behavior toward Brian becomes increasingly antagonistic. Weeks of hostility pass until a selfless but reckless split-second decision on Brian's part alters their lives forever, leaving them dependent on one another for survival. A stunning climax leaves Brian and Melissa with only each other to trust, completely unaware of the larger, more sinister agenda only now beginning.

Are you really looking for books by Christian authors, or books written expressly for Christians (CBA) like Left Behind?

If you're looking for CBA fare, I wouldn't recommend Graham Greene. He's a bit to gritty for CBA. As far as fiction, I would recommend looking into Hometown Legend by Jerry B. Jenkins, The List by Robert Whitlow, Murder on the Titanic by James Walker (he has a book set at Gettysburg, too), Shoofly Pie by Tim Downs, Driven by W.G. Griffiths, Babylon Rising by Tim LeHaye (actually written by someone else based on his story, ala Left Behind), This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti, The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis, and The Visitation by Frank Peretti. As for CBA nonfiction, look into The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, Larson's Book of Spiritual Warfare by Bob Larson, Live Free by Tom McKinney (words for living ministries may be the only place to get this), Racing to Win by Joe Gibbs (mixes football and racing into a devotional type book), Beyond the Norm by Norm Miller (CEO, I believe, of Interstate Batteries),
Divine Revelation of Hell by Mary K. Baxter, The Final Quest by Grant Joyner.

If you're just looking for books by Christian authors but not necessarily CBA books, then anything by Graham Greene, Nicholas Sparks, or John Grisham would fit that bill. I'd also recommend a little book called Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson. I don't know for sure that the author is a Christian but the message is very universal for church, business, and personal life.

I recommend "The Sovereignty Of God" by A W PINK (banner of Truth edition)

also 'The Life of David 'and 'Eternal Security' by the same author.

Also if you haven't read 'Pilgrims Progress' by John Bunyan (available in modern language) you are yet to discover a sublime read.

Greetings Cygnus
