i am looking for followers (or seekers?) of Jesus
if you're on earth
whether in oklahoma usa
or elsewhere
.....
as it is written basically - 'wherever you go, seek out those who are faithful' ...
Aanabaptists is the closest i've found 'officially' (i.e. in an identified group) to living how they lived in the Bible times following Jesus.
I think we should continue following Jesus in today's time, not giving in to society and changes in the world, but simply believing in Jesus and His Faithfulness, trusting, relying on and seeking Yhwh the Creator and the Father of Jesus in all things with our whole hearts and minds and souls and spirits, fully and totally and completely devoting all of everything to Him as He permits and accomplishes His Own Purpose in and through us by His Doing with our complete willingness to do all He says always in line with all of His Word.(i.e. not disobedient anarchy , frivolousness, silliness, weird or strange unBiblical emotional or 'feel like' actions without or outside Yhwh's directions).

Yhwh willing, I want to communicate in person with others of faith in Jesus who are seeking to do His Will entirely (i.e. no gambling, no alcohol, no divorce, no tv, no 'entertainment'(worldly), no laziness, --- like a soldier in service to Yhwh the Creator by Yeshua's Faithfulness, purchased for His service by the Blood of the Lamb Who was Slain for our sins! - not entangled nor seeking to be entangled in all the distractions of the world) .. ..

Brother, It is not what religion or race, but class, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who is GOD, spoke of class, Poor/Rich, Wheat/Weeds --- He preached that the Kingdom of GOD belongs to the Poor People.

yes, i am looking for the ones Jesus blesses as "blessed are you who are ...."
and who live His Way.

i'm not looking for lessons (like the link you provided - i went to it, and it may be good, but it is not helpful in finding others poor in spirit who want to live His Way, or at least i don't see how .... ... )

true , true lessons are needed, as so many not true are taught all the time everywhere. children and adults are harassed daily with false stories and lessons and rules and deceptions all over the globe, everywhere, even on forums for believers. (like is written in Hosea : something like 'traps are layed every day , even in the house of Yhwh, for the man of Yhwh')....

we need to speak in person with one another, with believers, the truth one to another, and no one in Christ Jesus should continue lying, nor accepting lying as if it's okay. (many have told me they have to lie to survive or to keep their job or position; they are in trouble every day).

I know that this is a really old post - two years ago-ish. But I wanted to address a couple of things. First, you are posting on the internet. If you want to live without tv, etc, then you would not have a computer, let alone use the internet. Second, living within the culture is not a sin if you are obedient to the Word IN that culture. Iow, tv is not a sin unless you use it to view things that are anti-biblical.

I am Anabaptist, yet my entire community of Mennonites live with tv, some have been divorced and married to someone else, they use computers, internet, entertainment, drink (they do not get drunk, as per biblical command), etc. They still work hard, play hard, enjoy life, and love the Lord and are faithful servants. They are committed to sharing Jesus, to building the Kingdom through missions, and to building our community. There is nothing wrong with living a simple life, but there is also nothing wrong with living a busy and complicated life - if you serve no other god but the Lord God.

"HOW MANY WILL BE SAVED? There was a debate between two famous rabbis about this. One said that the number saved would be one third of the world. To support this he pointed to the ancient Flood in which Noah and his three sons and their families were saved. But of these three sons, Shem, the ancestor of Israel, received the greatest blessing. The Bible does tell us in many places that the number of those who will be saved will be few. Paul, the Apostle, wrote in his letter to the Romans:

Are you sure you are a follower of Jesus? I mean, of the teachings of Jesus because himself, he has been dead for about 2000 years already. Did you know he was a Jew? and a loyal one if you ask me. The main point of his teachings was the Law. If you read Mat. 5:17-19, he said that the Law would never pass away as long as heaven and earth remain as part of the Universe. Then, if you read Luke 16:29-31, to achieve salvation, we must listen to "Moses" aka the Law. If you are looking for people just like Jesus, you have just happen to meet one. And mind you, someone who lives according to the Faith of Jesus which was Judaism. That's what Revelation 14:12 says: "Here are the saints of the Most High; those who obey the commandments of God and live according to the Faith of Jesus aka Judaism. If you want to discuss the Faith of Jesus with me, you are welcome.

Not only did I know always that Y'SHUA is Jewish, A JEW!< I have rejoiced that I am one also, by birth and by re-birth in HIM, and by faith, and by YHWH ABBA'S GRACE in HIM.
Also, Y'SHUA IS ALIVE! (not dead).
