The situation presently is that I am not able to find reliable accountability. I have one friend who is a missionary and is very patient and understanding but is often too busy to regularly communicate. I met another friend at a church who has started being my accountability partner but is overly impatient and pushy in communicating with me and expecting a response so I don't know if that relationship is a good fit.
What I am looking for is a friend who will text me once or twice a week at least and ask me if I'm walking in victory. I have found that since God is involved in the process, often I will get such a text message right when I am beginning to drift in the wrong direction. I realize someone on CF might not want to immediately give out their personal cell phone number, so I might be willing to communicate by email. However because I do not have really convenient access to the Internet, I might not be able to use messaging on CF that much. To explain, I use an email machine that has no internet to keep in touch by email, but I am not able to get on CF that way.
