  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

When I was saved back in the late 80's, for several years I listened to a radio program called "Songtime" with John Debrine. They would play praise medleys by a group he called "The Celebration Singers"

That show is still on the air, but not in my location; John Debrine passed on a couple years ago. I have searched You Tube using titles of some of the songs I remember- 'Shine Jesus Shine', 'It is Good To Give Thanks to The Lord', 'Great and Mighty', etc. I can easily find those songs, but never in the arraignments, or voices I remember.

Thanks in advance for your help.

The names are familiar, but the link claims "44 tracks" and when I go to play them, it says "cannot play that track" Thanks for the effort!
Edit to add: Because it had the name of the album (Exalt Him! Vol 1) I managed to find it on you tube! Thanks again!

Oh... I remember that CD. Kiwi group I think. Not sure what happened to it... my first wife probably kept it (like most of my other albums) but... she may have given me a tape of it... maybe Volume 2 also... yep... found them... they're on my multimedia PC. Not bothered to convert the file recording to MP3 or WAV files yet because I'd have to work out what the track names are and then put a bit of time in playing with the Audacity file.
