...and what do you see? From reading the gospels, reading and learning about Jesus short life on earth, what are your impressions on Him concerning His personality?

He loved to tell stories,
have dinner at the houses of those most rejected by society (today's poor, homosexuals, prostitutes, lawyers ;) ),
and challenge the religious conservatives of his day to rethink their paradigms about what God wanted.

So true, Jesus really hung out with the "losers" of society and rebuked the proud and religious. I am seeing more of His warrior side now.

Matthew 10:34 - 34“Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

Psalm 2:9 - 9 You will rule them with an iron scepter [a] ; you will dash them to pieces like pottery."

Revelation 12:5 - 5She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.

Revelation 19:15 - 15Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.

His personality was flawless because he was God in the flesh. I believe that he was outspoken, and he probably had a good sense of humor. He was very passionate. I bet he was a hoot to hang out with on Earth. I have a great time with him in my heart. :)

I think Jesus had/has an awesome since of humor. Can you imagine what His facial expression might have looked like when after He had fed the five-thousand and the four-thousand then afterwards, when He and the disciples were getting on a boat, they were worried they wouldn't have enough food! I bet it was priceless after the initial affect of realizing their little faith.

Throughout the Bible, I believe God has always shown He has a funny side and doesn't mind throwing out a sarcastic comment to get the attention of someone. I believe Jesus was the same while in physical form. Like above, I have a blast with Him as it is and can't imagine what it will be like when He's right next to me.

A 1st century Jewish rabbi with a new interpretation of the Torah.

I also see His (and thus God's) compassion and love.

I like that Scripture that speaks about when he was in the garden of Gethsemini... (is that spelt right?) the guards aksed where Jesus was and He said "I am He" at that all fell backward... What power in a couple of words? His personality was exactly what we all needed to read about, for all time, from the beginning to the end the words in The Bible about Jesus have been planned down to reach every individual. His nature could have been so much more as we all know. He is awesome.

I also believe he had a great sense of humor. Check out this painting of Him laughing in joy:

I know this is going to sound trite, but here goes anyway...

Jesus, One who proclaimed Himself, sent by God, and as God...The only begotten Son of God. The only One qualified to call it as He saw it, tell it like it is, and the only One who came to make a way for my Salvation.

I believe He was not only 100% God and 100% Man, but also He was a warrior, poet, a friend, mentor, healer, and teacher to all He came into contact with. No matter their social station, occupation or position.

integra evan, nice visual. That captures Jesus so well!!! I think that Jesus is hardcore, in everything that He did. I bet most people just don't get His jokes, they are so funny that they fly over our heads.

You know why Jesus called James and John 'sons of thunder'? Cause they were all bark and no bite. What is thunder without lighning? Just sound. Jesus humor.
