lonley and hurting

first off hi there yall. i am 24 married. i have a 4 year old son. it has been over 6 months scence i have cut myself. to day me and my hubby had a argument and there were 2 things that came to my mind. cutting and dope. i am not doing either right now nor did i today. i just want the pain to stop and i am tired of feeling lonley.

I understand that urge to self-destruct when I am angry and feeling hurt by a loved one. It is a tactic that the devil will use to get us to stop looking to the Lord and start hurting a child of God, ourselves. When we do that, Satan wins. Start believing the Truth about what God says about you. Learn new ways to deal with anger. Journal, exercise, pray, meditate on scripture, take a bubble bath, love the body God gave you and love yourself too. That takes work, and study of scriptures, but the winner is you in the end.

Read and meditate on the following statements when you are hurt and angry and tempted to harm yourself.

It is hard not to fall into the old patterns that have been our comforters form before. I haven't cut myself since October. One thing that has helped me is to put icecubes in my hands and squeeze them untill I can't take it. It does help. Another isd to think that when I want to cut. I think why do I want to give that power to satan or the person or situation that made me mad. You are in my prayers. Stay strong and trust God
