Longing for Heaven

Hello brothers and sisters in Christ.
I was raised in a Christian household, but I didn't take my relationship with Christ seriously until I was 13. I'm 27 now and I continue to walk with the Lord and trust in Him.
However, lately I have been struggling with feelings of anxiety and depression. I believe that the Rapture will occur very soon, so it has me longing for Heaven. I feel like Paul when he said that our bodies groan and long for Heaven and to be clothed in righteousness. However, Peter teaches us that God is patient and long suffering, desiring that no one should perish, but that everyone would be saved. So, I'm trusting in God that Jesus will return at the proper time.
In the midst of my struggles, God put it on my heart that I should look into an online Christian forum to join. My hope is to use this forum to pour into the lives of others, and allow others to pour into me.
I work as an accountant in a lending company, and I like playing video games and reading. I also like learning about finances and investing. I go to church every week and am part of their sound team.

There is troubling times and maybe it has something to do with.... Several people I have spoken to lately in the body of Christ have been feeling uneasy, foreboding, and disquiet .....and for the last couple of days, I also have had some weirdness ....can't quite put my finger on it ....and I rarely get like this...although it seems to have subsided.
But we do feel the effects of things when stuff is going on within the one body..... I am not saying it has anything to do with the return, but ...my bags are packed and I am ready to go....although I better bring some extra toothpaste ....I don't know if there are any supply chain problems in heaven also.

That's something I have noticed too; just people suddenly experiencing health problems or emotional struggles. For me personally, I'm experiencing levels of anxiety and depression that I've never felt before, and I can't figure out why. Perhaps Satan knows that his time is limited, so he's doing everything he can to attack the church. But until Jesus returns or calls me home, I'm going to remain faithful and keep running the race. Please pray that God gives me the strength to keep moving forward.
