How's this for a new game? If you like word games, it might be fun. If no one posts, well, then I'll just go off by myself and play Scrabble or something.

How to play:
Take the last valid word, rearrange the letters, and add one more letter to form a word.

So say we start with the word rat. The second person could post star. The next person would post those 4 letters rearranged with an additional letter.

If, after a day or two, no one builds on the last word in a thread, the person who posted that word may declare him/herself the winner, and post a new short word. Even so, someone can always build on that word later in the future, just for fun (and a blessing :yum: ).

All words must be legitimate. We can use dictionaries like Dictionary.com and Merriam-Webster Online if we want to challenge a word.

If a word is not in a dictionary, it is not valid and doesn't count. We try to build again off the previous word. So, if you have a question about a word, check it; if you build on it, your word is invalid, too.

Example:

If you post the word sqlat, and the consensus determines that it isn't a word, then that word and all the words after it which are words rearranged from that word will be disregarded. But if you posted after that word a valid rearrrangement of the word before sqlat, then that word and those that were posted after that would still count.

I will start up the first one of the game and you'll be able to see how it works (hopefully, I explained it well enough).
