loki?

Loki isn't in the Bible. but is a mythological Norse Viking god of mischief. Remember the Thor Marvel comic book character with the big hammer? He was always fighting with Loki.

Baldur was the most beloved of all the Norse gods. Loki used trickery to kill Baldur because he envied him. The Vikings believed that at Ragnarok (the end of the world) Baldur would again come to life and there will be a new universe of peace. Some people see in this a redemptive analogy (a feature of a culture that bears some resemblance to Christian teaching and can be used as a bridge to communicate the Gospel within that culture). They see Loki as representing Satan while Baldur represents Jesus. Could this be what he was refering to?
