hi. i didn't know where else to type this topic so im sorry if it is in the wrong place. i heard someone talking today about a 'loki' or soemthing similar in the bible so i went home and tried to find some info on him, but didn't find any. i was wondering if anyone could clue me in on who this 'loki' is? thank you

Baldur was the most beloved of all the Norse gods. Loki used trickery to kill Baldur because he envied him. The Vikings believed that at Ragnarok (the end of the world) Baldur would again come to life and there will be a new universe of peace. Some people see in this a redemptive analogy (a feature of a culture that bears some resemblance to Christian teaching and can be used as a bridge to communicate the Gospel within that culture). They see Loki as representing Satan while Baldur represents Jesus. Could this be what he was refering to?
