I agree with His Excellency Ratko Peric. These are not true apparitions, and never have been.

I couldn't possibly make up my mind one way or the other, unless I'd been there and had a revelation from God. I do personally know one person who's been there and had an experience. But there are plenty of people who have been there an haven't had anything happen as well.

Going there and having nothing happen wouldn't mean that nothing happens there. Going there and having something happen would prove to me that something divine does happen there. But it wouldn't prove it to anyone else.

I'm happy to keep a skeptical, but open mind about it.
