  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Is reincarnation in the Bible? Absolutely! In John 8:56 Jesus says, "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad." Lets go back to the time that he was referencing. Genesis 18:2, " And he (Abraham) lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him:" These three men, i believe were Christ, Michael, and Gabriel. verse 10 says, "I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son." Then it was reitterated in verse 14, "Is anything too hard for the Lord? at the time appointed i will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son." The time of life means at the child's birth. So, essentially what he was saying was, when the child is born, I will return, or revisit you. or, to be more precise i will be that child (in spirit)! Now, look at Genesis 21:6, "And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so all that hear will laugh with me." This is signifigant because the child's name, Issac means laughter. Remember John 8:56? "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad." Then in verse 58, He said, "Verily, verily, i say unto you, before Abraham was, I am." Also in Malachi 4:5 God said that he would send Elijah, as a fore-runner to the Messiah. The Jews, maybe expecting dead bones to walk into Jerusalem to fore-warn them, overlooked John the baptist. But Christ said it was he, in Matthew 11:10-11. So, John the baptist was Elijah! That's reincarnation if i ever saw it! Ecclesiastes 1:9, "The thing that has been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." Verse 11, "There is no rememberance of former things; neither shall there be any rememberance of things that are to come with those that shall come after." This is obviously not refering to historical events, as they have been well documented from ancient times! :liturgy:

That is not reincarnation. Christian teaching is that we all immortal, and for those who know Christ we will get a resurrected, perfected body. But there is only one lap in the race. It is appointed that man dies once and after that he faces the judgement of God.

re= back in= in carnate= flesh
if a spirit dwelt in one body for a life cycle, then that body dies, the spirit returns unto the father of spirits; then after a period of time, the spirit returns in a new body (life cycle) that my friend is reincarnation. as the word implies the spirit is "back in the flesh!"
