Live Just For Him

Time is ticking fast away,
While some people now delay
Serving Jesus with their lives,
For the truth they now decry.

Hypocrites who claim their faith
In the Savior, up to date,
But refuse to bow the knee
To the One they claim belief.

Gospel message not believe,
For the truth they not receive.
Pardon for their sins not met,
For their sins they not relent.

Lies accepted as the truth,
While the truth they do undo.
Twist the Scriptures to their bent,
Out of context, truth not meant.

Falsify the gospel do,
To deceive, not just a few,
But to capture everyone
In their net, leave out not one.

Must not listen to the lies,
But the lies we must decry,
Tell the truth of God’s own word,
Make it clear, and do not blur.

Tell how Jesus bled and died
For our sins, was crucified,
So that we will die to sin,
And we’ll live now just for Him.

Tell of how He came to save
Us from sins, no longer slaves
To our sins, for now forgiven,
So that we will live in heaven.
