Lighthouse...Christian Dream and Vision Interpretation

Starting a fresh thread here ye...so now open for proverbial business. Right off the top, my humble advice for dreamers...the more information you give, the more accurate the interpretation ought to be. Posting only bits and pieces of a dream would of course leave gaping holes in trying to decipher its message. For old dreams, if what was going on in your life when you got the dream or vision applies, do divulge the particulars. Note for those new to interpreting, in dreams, names and initials, city and street names are sometimes symbolic, as are years, dates, ages, and other numbers. Plus if you deem what is presently happening to you as relevant, share that too. So being very specific, having a keen attention to detail in your dream posting, will make this endeavour enjoyable and more fruitful for you! Also, am glad to do interpreting via pm for dreams that are more personal.

Lighthouse is sincerely meant to be a blessing to all those who would visit. Am here all for the glory of Jesus! His willing instrument with purpose is to help bring edification, comfort, and hope to His Body! So PLEASE refrain from any personal attacks! Hi, I like lighthouses!!

I have a re-occruing dream. I dream that I have to go back to college and take more classes or take some tests in order to actually get my degree! I have been out of college since Dec 95, and they gave me my diploma!! What does this mean?

In the dream, I received a card in the mail. The card was from a girl that
I had been seeing. I open it, but the writing on the card is not legible.
I hold the card up to a light, and the writing becomes legible. It
says "I love you" and "I do have time for a relatinship".

For some background. At this time, it was becoming clear that this girl
had moved on. I was waiting on her to tell me herself that she had indeed
moved on and there was not future with us. So, this was a time of
uncertainty. Naturally it was a emotionally draing, and stressful time as
well.

I always associated the light in the dream with Jesus, but the outcome of the dream did
not hold to be true.

Well, since the outcome of the dream did not hold to be true that would indicate it wasn't from Jesus. In my humble opinion, the light was more from your hoping against hope she would say that she did want to be in relationship with you.

May the following give you new hope...

foresight + a good attitude = fortitude, meaning if somtin like a relationship doesn't work out, have the foresight to recognize that God is full of Divine Surprises for you, yet to be revealed!

Thanks. I was thinking about the first one. Do you think it might have something to do with judging self worth. That I did do well enough in school when I was there, that I wasn't "good enough", so I feel that I need to go back again?

I was in church last week and I think I had a vision...I guess that would be what you call it....it was quick I do remember that.
I was standing on a big field with wounded people walking around and some near death....I heard the Lord say bind up the wounds. I asked how can I...but that is where I don't remember from...not sure if it was over then or what.

AlabamaMan! Your awe-inspiring vision certainly be Jesus showing you that the harvest (symbolized by the big field) is ripe! The wounded people walking around shows people actively and desperately (some were near death) searching for Christ, His Great Love, and His significant plans and purposes for their lives! Asking 'how can I?' Could be from God's heart, a plea for praying that more workers be mobilized to bring in the ready harvest of souls! These Bible verses confirm the message of your dream and also answer you query...

I have remembered another dream I have had recently. I live close to an Air Force Base.

My dream is, I was at my brother's house with my mom. We were putting Cd's into his stereo. The next thing I know I'm driving along a highway out in the country. As I was driving a plane fell out of the sky. It looked like a fighter jet. It was crashing all around me, I was having to swerve to miss the pieces. I thought it was gonna fall right on top of my car. End of dream.

None of this has happened, like the other dreams did. So, I don't know what it means.

This is a dream my son had.

He said in his dream he was 20 years old. He was sitting in a chair by the fireplace. The fireplace spat out a fire form of a human. The fire form grabbed his feet and started dragging him into the fireplace. He got loose and when he woke up from the dream he could not open his eyes.

After this dream he wouldnt sleep in his bedroom anymore, so we had to move him to another bedroom. From the time we bought this house to today, he does not like that room and he will NOT sleep there no matter what.

Faith, appreciate that you reposted here and with the additional info you gave me, I refined my interpretation accordingly...

A plane tends to symbolize ministry; a fighter jet, a symbol of spiritual warfare, so as you said your brother is wrestling with God. Since you were out in the country, meaning isolated, as you confirmed this describes his situation. CD, a symbol of repetition, also stands for call deflection, both applying to your bro. Your dream seems to be a Divine Call to intercede for your brother to help deflect a spiritual attack and or that he is deflecting God's Call on his life. Your Mom could symbolize Jesus as the Voice of Wisdom with a heart of compassion. Our Lord of lords and King of kings holds the answer to whatever your bro going through! Pray God's great love upon him, tiz irresistible and the strongest power on earth! Keep lifting Jesus higher! Air Force Base makes me think of the spiritual realm, so recognize tiz a spiritual battle that is taking place as per Ephesians 6:10+...

Tiz certainly more of a nightmare than a God-inspired dream. There may be remnants of the house's previous family's spiritual activity. Or it could have been a demonic attack on your son and the enemy trying to get a foothold of fear in his life to prevent him from growing spiritually and bring glory to our Lord. Encourage your son that greater is Jesus in him! Praying with him before bed will give him much assurance that he is Divinely protected!

Psalm 121:1-8 I lift up my eyes to the hills-where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip-He who watches over you will not slumber;...He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. I believe the dream my son had was a demonic attack. Especially after some of the things we have all felt here in this house. We didn't recognize these feelings as being evil until we became christians. It was like our eyes were opened for us.

When we bought this house my son was 3 years old. He used to tell us that he would see things in his bedroom. We thought it was just a three year olds imagination. We were not christians at this time, so we didn't have a clue that it could be demonic.

Later when we moved my son out of this room my daughter slept there (she's 9 years older than him) and she would tell me that she felt something evil in this room.
We continue to pray and put on the armor of G-d.

I had almost forgot this dream, but your thread got me to thinking. Years ago just shortly before i surrendered myself to Jesus I had a dream.( At the time I had only read the four gospels and thot they were a lot alike) In this dream the entire land was barren. No trees,grass, food or anything. I was on a mountain where there were many others. Some were dying, ill and then the rest were like pharises. I looked down the mountain and saw many people trying to get to the top but the dirt was loose and they kept slipping back down. I was desperate to help all those I could reach on the top of the mountain and I didn't know how.Then it occured to me I was powerless. At that moment I knew God had the answers, so then I dropped down on one knee and raised my right hand to God and said "Lord if you want me to help these people it will have to be through your power" at that moment i felt the power of God surging through my body entering through my right hand. That was the end of the dream

My best friend just died recently and I had a dream that We both were in a car and we wrecked and she hit the winshield and she was being sucked out of it and god was calling her out but the whole time she was reaching for me, calling my name and yelling for me to save her. what does this mean?
