I grew up in a baptist home and learned of Yeshua and His Torah at a young age when I read and studied the bible for myself after many unanswered questions like: What is sin? Do we need to obey God or "just follow Jesus", etc. This led to a separation between myself and my family after my dad died in 2009 (he accepted my beliefs, the rest of them did not) and this led me into moving into a neighbor's small apartment they had in their home. The neighbors were muslim and when they lost their house to foreclosure, they moved back to Bosnia. I was a member of this forum then and shared my soon-to be homelessness here. This is an update to what Yahweh has done in my life and how He has provided me.
An online "fellowship" I was in at the time I was "befriended" by some people who were pretending to be Christians. Two of them, unknown by me at the time, were setting me up for destruction. Two others, husband and wife, said they wanted me to move to Wisconsin (from Seattle) and to start my life over in Wisconsin with people (them) to "fellowship" with. Unknown to me at the time, they were part of a plan to destroy me and they were going to try and "change me". I stayed with them for three months surviving several demonic outbursts from them. I feared for my life and got out - almost penniless (spending nearly everything I had to move from Seattle to Wisconsin) and about to be homeless again.
The next few months were tough although I saw with incredible detail how Yahweh provided for me and orchestrated every detail. There is so much that it would be hard to describe every provision and every step in which He provided for me. I was not able to find a job right off so while I was in a homeless shelter (where I was for three months) I took classes to drive truck (18 wheelers) and spent over two years driving truck and saw 48 of the mainland states as well as Canada. I was able to go to NYC for a day to sights see, Go to the Gettysburg battlefield / museum, see all of the Great Lakes, tour the Hershey Chocolate Factory in Pennsylvania, and on a trip to Canada was able to take a day off and see Niagara Falls.
I loved driving truck and seeing the country although it is a tough life (especially for female drivers) and while there are some Christian truck drivers, they are few and far between. Also as a Sabbath observer, the trucking company I worked for did everything possible to try and force me to work on the Sabbath and did some unethical things because of my beliefs so I ended up quitting. The second trucking company was doing the same thing so I was glad Yahweh took me out of driving truck. Yahweh has a way of getting my attention and when I'm too slow to act, He makes sure I have no other choice so I ended up quitting sooner than I would have after suffering heat stroke and ending up in the hospital.
Yahweh still has me in Wisconsin - I know I'm not to go back to Seattle or even the West Coast. I'm back in school studying computer programming and I just had my first Windows Store app published (Learning Hebrew letters: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/apps/learn-hebrew-the-letters/9nblggh4vnw3 ) and hopefully I will have enough sales to help pay for my last year of college.
There was another person here on the forum that was facing homelessness when I was about to when I was still in Seattle. Their thought was that they were going to hike the Appalachian Trail and see how Yahweh was going to provide for them - I forget their name although I often think about them and pray for them.
No matter how tough things seem to be, Yahweh will provide for those that belong to Him. It was so incredible of the journey this past few years although I have seen with my own eyes that Yeshua will never abandon any of His sheep and He will provide for them regardless how hopeless the situation appears to be.
From what I have learned, Yahweh has dealt with those who tried to destroy me - some of them very severely. No matter how bad people treat you, pray for them and let Yahweh deal with them - He can deal with them more severely and justly than you ever can.
