For the longest time I have always thought the term "Life Stages" was inappropriate for this category section because being a woman or man is not a life stage. It is forever! Moreover, not everyone enters the same stages. Hence, I found a place that uses an accurate term more apropos and intelligently thought out - "Cohorts".

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think Life Stages fit perfectly. If you notice, other then the men's and woman's forum everything IS a life stage (parenting, golden years, twenty somethings etc.)
Do you suggest we perhaps move the mens and womans forum else where?

As was described already Life Stages does not fit perfectly, otherwise you would not have needed to ask the question, Should you move certain forums out just to fit the inadequate category name.
Since some people are not parents or ever to be married or don't enter golden years or to be widowed or courting or don't go to college or are not the opposite sex, then this is not a life stage they will enter. I for one will never be the opposite sex, no matter how many times I come to the Life Stages forums.
Hope these points are appreciated that they may sink in.
