Life - A Conviction
Questions of Life - A Conviction
There was a place outside where I sat quiet and content
And when I thought about where I was; I was since fixed
My thoughts did not stop, in fact, I was deeply entrenched
In finding meaning of life; my feelings were quite mixed
As the leaves fell down around me, my spirit was elevated
Life springing forth soon enough even after it being autumn
Winter precipitation to the spring restoration celebrated
Small miracles produced rapidly even on Earth's bottom
A trace of repetition from incompletion to resolution
Masterfully done and fluid in transitional steps
However, it's undeniable there was effort in institution
That somewhere, a design or plan, made its intercepts
Chance, you say? How perfect was this probability?
How random could it have been for us to breathe and relate?
Was it one thing right, or two, or of millions that led to stability?
Or, perhaps, man was meant to have a much different fate?
Each creature has made its niche in nature and thrived
How many days and years were recognized to contemplate..
how each creature must have progressed this far to surivive?
How long did it take for man to be cognizant of this rate?
Are we sure of the evidence of how at the beginning we existed?
And, if we are, then when and what occured that changed direction
and made a difference from us and animals that since persisted?
Significantly deeper factors deserve a much more thorough inspection
Why does the young man return to his mother even after survival
Why does the young woman have friends that could never provide
How come survival of the fittest never quite fit the bible
When it said to be good to your neighbors, selfishness aside?
If man were meant for survival; we were meant only for doom
If we were meant to feed our needs and die; why live for lack?
Why live to be nothing but a name and to be physically consumed
When a man of truth helps man without expecting something back
A man of God's peace, knowledge of second life and immoratility
Knowing that man is meant for more than this present situation
Of believing in redemption of sin to be a worthwhile reality
Yet those without this hope may face the reality of eternal separation
