And as it had done for a thousand years the redwood stream made its was from the mountain to the coast, and the Chinook Indian paddler, in the path of his fathers and of his father's fathers, and of his father's father's father, deeply at one with his history and tradition, in unison with his environment, and in harmony with the precision of the birds in the trees whose carefully crafted song was made for this moment, for these ears, to affirm the wonder of this journey, and to ensure that it's meaning and purpose is declared to a world yet unaware.

Oscar, whose effort in this great endeavour was simply to go along for the ride, mused to himself that life was good, and he wondered if he raised his paw with claws outstretched if some jumping fish might simply be caught mid flight, some sort of feline drive through takeaway fast food, and relentlessly Chasing-Life, drove the oar deeper and deeper, all but silently save for the ripple and the dripping water, and he knew that this journey was freedom, for he had thought that this was a journey into freedom, but now here in this chiming forest stream he knew that freedom was the journey, not the destination, and a deep interior smile and and inner peace arose, and he lifted up his heart.

The living now paler than the zombies.. all except one, of course. And his face was shining as the sun, his palms beheld the sky and they all drew near to hear him. "Who is this man?" They all wondered. "For he even commands the drones to fall from the sky!".

Preacher Trump unmoved by the sudden attention. He'd never sought the praise of men, and He'd never known the fierceness of a hungry zombie horde..

But, nobody could quite understand the things he was saying, resembling holy scripture, though unrecognised..
