Hey, I'm seeing some really good advice coming from some missionaries living all around the world who are on fire for missions and evangelism. I'm a missionary myself that has served Jesus in Thailand, Nepal. I am presently in Taiwan, learning the Chinese language with plans to go into China. I get totally encouraged seeing you all help one another grow in the Lord. Let's stay connected, encouraging each other. There is power in numbers! Especially, if we are totally sold out to Jesus and wanting to help change this world for His glory. Although I have been involved with missions since I was a teenager, 20 years ago and the Lord has used me to help many young people get involved in missions; I'm still a nobody that God seems to use by His grace. I continue to need advice from people like you and I would be blessed if I could be an encouragement to you. Anyway, let's stay connected.

Hello Roger, I have a number of old friends and acquaintances who are ministering, predominantly in Europe (Belgium, the Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, quite a few in Germany of course). I'll point them to this thread, just in case you ever direct your energies to some of the same places-- many of them have learned French, Dutch or German in less than 2 years, and while I suspect that Chinese might be a bigger hurdle :) they could help you with the language aspect among other things if you want to work there. Continued good luck and God Bless in your efforts!
