I believe you are right.Julie said:God, The Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost is the "us".
The Word only became flesh because of sin.Lightening said:I also wondered....If God would have spoken man into exsistence, then would the Word have become flesh? (It's just a thought.)... The Word was with God. The Word was God. But the Word didn't become flesh until Jesus.
I want to thank all of you for your replies. It's going to take a while for me to learn how to navigate around in this site. Blessings are ours, Praise Our Savior Jesus.

If there had never been no sin then Jesus would never have been crucified.
Sin was around long before man was created. Mans disobedience put him on the road to destruction. Despite our sin God still loves us. A love that will take forever and beyond to comprehend. The Word became flesh because God loves His creation. Yes, if there never had been any sin Jesus would never have been crucified. Peace on earth would be the norm. Can you explain what you mean please.Julie said:Anyone?
There are some that believe that Jesus had a few incarnations throughout the old testament.Julie said:Hate to throw this in, but....couldn't there have been an Old Testament incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ?
Thank you for explaining this Julie. The "us" in this verse has confused me for some time until you explained it.Julie said:God, The Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost is the "us".
