Hello everyone. Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I am new to the site. After browsing the threads I decided this is a very cool place and signed up. I am 22 years old (23 next month) and 7 months saved. I am slowly but surely getting involved in my church. I have a reqest though, if anyone is from the San Diego area and knows of a group that is made up of new christians, please let me know. I enjoy fellowship with other christians, but don't know any who have not grown up in the church. So we are not going through the same thing. Anyway, I look forward to discussing a variety of topics in the future with everyone here. God bless.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

there are alot of christians who did not grow up in church.but the point is you are now a member of the church,the body of christ.may God lead you and surround you with godly people.God bless.
