Well, tonight I started my new set of devotions, I am doing 5 chapters a day from 1st Corinthians to complete it by Friday. I learned alot today, especially in light of my relationship with God and his foundations he has built.

I learned that Jesus Christ, is metaphorically and literally a direct foundation for EVERYTHING. It's cool how we build our "buildings" of life and love on Jesus, and then we are un-conciously tested. Failure and success seem to be direct results of these tests, which is now how I derive what I see as literal success and failure. This can be found in 1st Cor. 3.

It's really cool to see how Paul was directly told all these things though. I mean, I learned so much by simply reading through the first 5 chapters tonight. We are servants of God and so fourth, we must be faithful, which is another direct correlation showing why we should distinctivly believe in one God. I now realize why there are other religions in this world, it is because other religions are like the servants who were distracted by other owners / evils and that is where the creation of false cultures (in our eyes as Christians) evolved. At least I think that is how it seems.

Anyway, those were my devotions for tonight. This thread is open for discussion of what a mentioned and anything else! Thanks everyone!
