Lenten missions

Is your church having Lent missions? Our church brought in a speaker who was AMAZING!! His name is Friar Johnpaul Cafiero and he's giving a 3 night service speaking about the people who were at the foot of the cross. I went tonight and it was awesome. Check out his website at www.friarjp.com --I should note, that if you're looking for someone to come speak at your church or to a youth group he is an incredible evangelizer. I strongly strongly recommend him.

I'm wondering if anyone else's church is doing mission services? What are you guys talking about?

Gosh I wish I was there!! I have a meditation about that from Adoration-- I am going to write it and post it on Tuesday probably! It is basically that at the Mass we are present at Christ's sacrifice, that is to say at the foot of the Cross. When we look who is there- the Beloved Disciple, she who was forgiven much and therefore loved much, His aunt, and His Mommy-- but through the institution of the Eucharist-- we are also invited to be beloved disciples and gifted with being at the foot of the Cross.

Anyway- I am really rambling, I will try to gather my thoughts and present "My Gift from Adoration Vol. 3- God is Love" on Tuesday ...
