Howdy folks. So what is everyone doing for Lenten devos this year? I'm looking for something meaty, something to really sink my teeth into. Any suggestions?

On the Passion of Christ: According to the Four Evangelists by Thomas á Kempis (a pre-Reformation Catholic writer, who is also the author of the well-known book The Imitation of Christ)

I can't recall how much of it conflicts with our theology, but with stuff like this I usually take the approach of "eat the meat, and spit out the bones."

I'm reading through the Psalms over Lent. A few Psalms each morning and some prayer time to start the day.

Hi Brownen! That's a good idea too! I've been using The Treasury of Daily Prayer put out by Concordia Publishing House for my morning devotions. It's a wonderful help!
