In earth dimension time of about 900000 BC until about 25000 BC, the Lemurian Continent also known as Mu, was located in what we now call the South Pacific ocean. Estimates place the flood at about 10,500 BC.

I have studied Lemuria, or the lost continent of MU in great detail. There is a book with the latter name that references a creation myth in every culture. Thus it is suspected that the Garden of Eden of the old testament is really a retelling of what happened at MU, the motherland of man. There is a creation myth about the original human being having four arms and four legs and being able to "roll" and this "rolling" threatened the gods so they split them apart into male and female so they would seek out each other "soulmates and twin flames" and leave them alone, and thus die.

All about the ancient continent of MU, the earliest traces of humanity.

Sacred Symbols of Mu: Chapter III. Symbols of the Deity and his Attributes
This chapter shows how every ancient culture worshipped the seven headed serpent (depicted in revelation) as their creator.

The ancients had numerous figures, always conventional, symbolizing this attribute. Apparently the most popular were adorned serpents. Many designs of these serpents are found in ancient carvings and literature.
Two of these serpents are especially prominent. One was the cobra, called in the Motherland, Naga. This one had seven heads. This number was given to correspond with the seven stages of creation, the seven mental planes, et cetera.

The seven-headed serpent originated in Mu and was there called Naga. In various Mu colonies it received added names. judging from the geographical position of the colonies where we find it, I think that the lower western half of Mu was where it was used. The people using this symbol were called after it--the Nagas.

The other serpent was covered with feathers instead of scales. This also originated in the Motherland and was there called Quetzacoatl. It is still to be found in the impenetrable jungles and swamps of Yucatan and Central America, but extremely rare. During all of my explorations I have only seen one, and I never want to see another. It is the most venomous serpent ever known on earth. Its location was apparently along the northern half of the Motherland. One tribe who made Quetzacoatl their symbol for the Creator, like the Nagas took their name from it, being known as--the Quetzals. The Quetzacoatl varied in design among these people.

One of the most noteworthy conventional designs of the Quetzacoatl is the Dragon so prominent in the northern parts of eastern Asia today. In this effort the ancients carried the design to the extreme of conventionality, for they endowed it with a crest, which it had not, wings which it had and legs which were long instead of mere claws or feet. They not only gave it the wherewithal to fly, but to run also, which it could not do.

The Pueblo Indians of Arizona and New Mexico bestowed on it the name of the bearded serpent as well as Quetzacoatl.

The Quiche Mayas, in their sacred book the Popal Vuh, refer to it as follows:--
"All was immobility and silence in the darkness, in the night; only the Creator, the maker, the dominator, the Serpent covered with feathers, they who engender,

Finally, there was but one man who changed all of history so that BC would end and AD begin and that was the son of God, Jesus Christ. In his revelation it is shown that the world will again rally under the banner of the seven-headed red dragon that is satan, who wanted to be worshipped in place of God, and his fake christ. The final battleground is being set for armageddon. If there is a one world religion and government then see that it has begun, and the lake of fire will be the eternal destiny of the dragon and his followers.

I think that's where lemurs came from.

Here's a detailed explanation of who came up with the whole "Lemuria"-idea and why it's been obsolete for quite a while now.

And as with many other concepts, we must "thank" Madame Blavatsky for misappropriating and misrepresenting that (long since debunked) theory.

The "Best of"-list of dear Helena includes such things as

- the Left Hand Path/Right Hand Path dichotomy as commonly understood by Westerners. (The original Indian concept is nowhere near to what people make of it to this day.)

- Chakras associated with a nice rainbow of specific colours. (Some chakra are indeed associated with specific colours - but they are not the same as in "Westernized" versions, all of which seem to draw upon Blavatsky and other Theosophist authors.)

- "Ascended Masters": You'll find plenty of books supposedly written by these blokes and lasses in the New Age section of your book shop of choice. Funnily enough, the "wisdom" of these exalted personages seems mostly to revolve around truisms, platitudes and lots of "love and light"-imagery.

- New Age. Honestly. The whole sub-culture is brimming with theosophical concepts, symbols, imagery, beliefs...

How DARE certain people in this thread go against the TRUE and REAL history as told in the Conan the Barbarian comics I read growing up.

You should be ashamed!

Next you'll try to tell me that the Hyborian age is fictional too!
