Legion| Movies.com
Seems like a very weak premise.
God, the one that created the world, and all the inhabitants, decides to end the world, and people and the arch-angel can stand against God?
Sorry. If God wants you dead, you will die. God wants the world dead, he destroys it. (meteor, massive earth quake, super-nova of our sun.) One angel and several "humans" can not stop god. They might be able to convince him not too, but not stand in his way.
Even a limited power god(greek mythology type) would be able to defeat humans, even with an arch-angel(being the most powerful angel.)
This one sounds far fetched from the begining.
Scott Stewart's supernatural thriller Legion, scripted by Peter Schink, concerns a group of strangers in an out-of-the-way eatery who become the first line of defense when God, believing the human race is no longer worthy of Him, decides to end their existence. This motley crew's only spiritual ally is the archangel Michael, played by Paul Bettany. Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson, Charles S. Dutton, and Lucas Black co-star in the Screen Gems production. ~ Perry Seibert, All Movie Guide
