I can't even pass the first level! I'm stuck at the 2 part when those units jump out of their attached landingships on the space station! Unbelivebly difficult!

Eventually I did figure out how to unlock foundation. I believe XBox live had a patch that just gave it to you, but I don't have live yet.
Sounds a lot like the part on legendary in the first game where when you board the Truth and Reconciliation and get ambushed. That part took me like 20 tries.

Halo on legendary isn't that hard as long as you use somewhat realistic military tactics and don't just run 'n gun. Keep your head down.

Totally. The landing party in the hangar bay trashes me.
I can manage to stay alive well enough. But the place is crawling with Elites. I can't put enough ammunition into them in a short enough time to keep from dying. If you don't manage to kill one, you just wasted the ammunition. I'm still getting comfortable with weapons. I really miss the zoom on the pistol.
