Legal File-Sharing, Spread the Word

I was at a site recently that allowed Christian artists to post music for free download. It was really designed to share their music free of charge if they wished too. I looked through it and really didnt care for much of it, but it got me wondering if there were any similar sites that board members might know about, or maybe even if there are artists here that wouldnt mind sharing.

I would post the address of the site I was at, but I am too new, they wont let me.

ALSO--THIS IS LEGAL FILESHARING! There are no copywrites on these files, and they are donated by the bands who made them...please do not reply with a site that has copywritten files.

ALSO, please post all links regardless of format, but I am particularly interested in music in the style of Petra, John Schlitt (I know, practically the same stuff, same singer), and other eighties styles.

I also am becoming a fan of Relient K.

Are you looking for sites of artists/bands where they put their music up for download?

Or just generic file-hosting that happens to be where a bunch of artists/bands are putting files up?

I know Robbie Seay has downloads to listen to his music on his site, so does Angell Tsang (though his site is kinda under construction).

Shane and Shane's site had a intro page for their new album "Upstairs" that let you listen to some of the songs, plus download 'em. Though the album itself is better quality than the samples on the page... but the samples are the full songs.

Come to think of it, many bands do this kind of thing.
